This QuadPod double cantilever enables more kilowatts per acre on space constrained lots when high power density is needed, reducing fixed cost per watt. This high capacity canopy requires significantly fewer foundations than traditional canopies. With just 3 foundations per 100kW, it can be applied to most any parking lot configuration. Additionally, its trusses are capable of 60′ spans between foundations. The steel support truss structure reduces foundation size in high load environments with its proprietary geometry.
90% of QuadPod’s construction takes place on the ground, inclusive of module attachment/wiring and inverter installation/wiring. After ground assembly, electrical and lighting, the canopies are lifted by crane for final installation, minimizing overhead work and optimizing worksite safety. On-site time is half that of other canopies, offering superior project economics, increasing throughput, and limiting disruption to parking lot operations.
